Frost, Peach (Semi-Dwarf)
Frost peach is one of the best all around peach varieties with it's abundant crops of high quality fruit, its disease resistance and it's late blooming habit. Peach trees are often early bloomers, and frequently have issues with their flowers getting destroyed by late frosts, so this late blooming habit allows this variety of peach to be grown further north than many other varieties. The fruits have great flavor and are quite juicy and sweet with yellow flesh. Though not immune to peach leaf curl, Frost is much more resistant than older varieties and does not require as much spraying. Eat these peaches fresh or canned - either way you are in for a real treat! Hardy to USDA zone 5.
Self-fertile (does not need to be planted near a different variety in order to produce fruit).
